In May of 2021, Crossflow officially established an employee-owned and operated 501c3 organization through the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville. Through Crossflow’s support, employees have the chance to give back to the community through donation or volunteer opportunities. There are two committees:
Grants Committee: This committee focuses on the entire process of awarding grants to local non-profits. The grant cycle begins in July and ends in November, with the goal of awarding 100% of contributions to selected charities on Giving Tuesday of each year. The application period opens July 1 and closes July 31.
Volunteer Committee: This committee focuses on coordinating volunteer opportunities. We hope that Crossflow Cares will help our employees actively engage with the community and spend time outside of work helping organizations they value. Our goal is to have one volunteer event offered each quarter and are on track to meet this goal in 2022.
